As a journalist I'm surprised you have not written about your recent Brighton REMF marathon run? How did it go? I have not read anything since you announced with much trumpeting, bluster and bravado and a cocky "bring it on" message that you were going to face off previous criticism and run again. I admire people like this and after all your self-made publicity I bet it must have felt great crossing the finish line and sticking two fingers up to all those who doubted you?
