Now the signing is looking likely, we need to know how to say this bloke's name, otherwise I'm just going to refer to him as Leonardo.

I believe I'm right in saying that in Spanish (and Italian, I think?) a double L is pronounced like a Y, i.e. Iker Casillas.

With that in mind, is it "oo-yo-yah"? Or "oo-yo-ah"? Or something else?

Confused of Kemp Town.

No matter what people say about Spanish pronunciation norms, it's going to be pronounced like the famous Hawaiian greeting. Guaranteed.

Which should make our friend Ken Livingstone Seagull feel right at home if it gets sung when he visits.

I imagine it's "Uh-yo-ah"

But i'll be calling him OOh-low-ah

We need to work out a way of chanting his name without sounding like a bunch of RACISTS.

Don't want any more 'Sieg Heils' accusations by Daily Mail reporters now do we.
