how to make my pc wireless???

I've a wireless modem for my laptop but have to have a ethernet conn to my desktop pc as it hasn't got a wireless receiver.

Does anyone know whether you can get a usb wireless receiver so I don't have to connect to the modem with a wire?

you need a broadband dongle (not a dingo, as i first thought they were called..) -

it doesnt need a mobile phone to go with it, either!

Three vodafone etc do them- most need a long commitment (18/24 momnths) to get it free, or around £100 on PAYG..

rates start £10/month for a basic Gig alowance (1gb?), £15 for 3gb, and £25 for 7gb i think..

speeds vary, the three one seems (claims) to be the best, as brighton is in a 'turbo' area..

That's what I did too. Not as good as the built-in, but good enough for my lads PC upstairs.

Try a Berkin Wireless Dongle. You'll need a wireless router of course. Go to PC World, all there - thats what I did!
