Make North Stand potg £10 and under 25 only. Sorted!
I'd wager that we have as wide-a range of songs than most other clubs, more so than many. Those who travel away consistently make a racket singing a host of songs, new and old.
Well, Albion fans singing at away games isn't a problem I can tell you, maybe the fact we play better away from home than at the Amex helps in this respect.
I've mentioned to Barber a few times that the North Stand, such as it is, isn't fit for purpose (and I don't mean the fans who sit/stand there). It's too bleeding small, it's hardly going to help that it's the smallest section of the ground, generating a good amount of noise is going to be an issue when you have less people in your main 'singing' area.
The North Stand needs to be double tiered or steeper with more rows allowing many more fans to gets tickets in that area. Also the away support needs to be right next to the North Stand so that it generates more noise between each set of fans.
It's not rocket science, c'mon Albion, we need to get the Amex atmosphere back to where it was in the Goldstone North Stand days.
I'd wager that we have as wide-a range of songs than most other clubs, more so than many.
Except the conversation is about HOME fans…
If that were the case then how is it about 95% of the time we only sing our version of the song the away fans are singing at us.
Oh yeah that's right - because we are reactive and not proactive.
Also the away support needs to be right next to the North Stand so that it generates more noise between each set of fans.
.
I've never found that to be the case though - that's bullshit.
Fact is we do have a wide range of songs and at away games we sing loads of different songs, certainly not just copying our version of whatever the oppo are singing (esp as at a lot of away games the home team has the same issue as us in terms of atmosphere and its quiet AF in the home stands).
'we' don't do that and never have done.
We have never generated the atmosphere.
We need to respond and react to something, whether it be the match circumstances, the point of the season, the referee, goals.
Whatever it is doesn't matter, what matters is that it happens to spur us on.
This season NOTHING has happened at the AMEX and so we have given NOTHING back.
Exactly as it was at the Goldstone and Withdean.
It really is that simple.
Anyway, back to my original point which is the Amex could certainly do with a gee-up, outside the ground and inside.
I really have to question if you've ever been to the Goldstone on a day when things haven't gone to plan. I may be getting on in years but I remember being in the North Stand back in the 70's and 80's and you couldn't hear yourself think it was that noisy, the fans certainly did their bit in trying to spur their team on to a home victory...and the team didn't have to be winning to do this either.
Why do you keep bringing away games into this when everybody else is talking at the AMEX.
I guarantee you, on Saturday, we will repeat a Utd chant back to them at least 10 times.
It's what we do.
Because they are linked.those who travel away obviously go to home games. Therefore lack of song originality isn't the issue.
You talk as if we are the only team who has an issue with atmosphere at home. We are not and far from it. So many teams in this country have the same issue - we're not unique and never have been. No more reactive/proactive than most other clubs. You only need to go to away games to see that most home fans are the same as ours.
Here are a few popular ideas that could improve the atmosphere at the Amex, which of these are worth trialling?
Pre Match/Half Time DJ - DJ on the pitch to generate some tub thumping tunes to get supporters psyched for the big game.
Theme Days - It worked before but not something we do anymore but bring back theme days, we could have things like 1920's circus, P party, american idols, super hero day etc
Singing Section - A dedicated singing section in the North Stand, or one close to the away supporters.
A band/orchestra in the stadium - Generates a wonderful atmosphere at England games, could be trialled at the Amex to whip the crowd into a frenzy and provide a backing track to sing along to.
Club to provide new chants/song sheets - Employees within the club to come up with some new and unique to us songs for us to sing and handout songsheets so everyone knows the words.
Involve the audience in P.A announcements
Unreserved seating in certain areas - Allows groups of friends to sing together who may be more likely to sing as a group.
BHAFC Choir
Squad players to mingle with and encourage fans to get behind the boys pre match
Any other suggestions?

I'd love things to change and for the Amex to be a cauldron of noise throughout a game, but at the end of the day our home form is so bad, we rarely score, and unfortunately like most clubs up and down the land that = a rather subdued home atmosphere
We're the middle were the middleYes you do remember that - we all remember those games.
They were the same sort of games that get quoted back to us, when there was some doubt about the AMEX being quiet.
You just aren't remembering all the other games.
On ITV4 Hub at the moment you'll find v Liverpool 3-3.
The Goldstone is rammed.
I'll hazard a guess it's high on your list of games that prove me wrong.
3 times the commentator makes reference to how quiet we are.
No amount of rosy-specced delusion changes that.
What's all the more annoying is when we do react we take the fudging roof off.
