Spot on, and explains many of the issues that have seen my previous passion for the game, slowly dwindle away to not much more than a passing interest of anything non-Albion.
While my views of why my passion remained for the Albion was very much because of my emotional attachment, the truth is, I've started to feel the same dwindling passion for the Albion the last couple of years. Perhaps that is because the issues he refers to begin to relate more to the Albion these days than previously. Based at Withdean, all fighting together for "Falmer" we were still breathing the lifeblood into the club. But now we have posted losses in a single year that are equivalent to 25,000 of us paying an extra £20 a game, across a 25 match season, then actually the scale of football finances even at our club is rushing away from us.
