Childline and West Yorkshire Ambulance service? :(

Glad to see we didn't buy our 8 points!

I read something along the lines of not everyone will get money. Don't they have to pay the football clubs back first before other creditors? Ignore that it is probably rubbish - it was something along those lines though, I am sure. Certainly different to the situation of a normal business.

I really don't understand or even want to understand the whole ins and outs of this so didn't just ignore this, Paddy is the one with more of a clue than me. The footballing debt has to be repaid and after that - who knows? A penny in the pound (to what is left after that and what certain creditors haven't already said they will right off depending on the vote) and you might as well not bother :(

I thought I was being ignored

Bad Ash and yourself, answered the question. I remember that now. Another very poor rule from the FA. :nono:

I agree absolutely.

We'll see, the vote will be interesting, not so much in what will happen because it's a done deal so far as the creditors with the most 'pull' voting yes to the deal that Bates has put forward, but what will happen after and if it will be ratified.

Isn't there a former player or fan with an Arabic consortium? Presumably, Bates wants control.

That's Revie's son, with a few of the Maktoum family behind him. He has given a lot of talk but as of today KPMG (the administrators) had not received a bid or any proof from him, so we'll see. He said he'd be more interested in buying the club in the future rather than buying us now. Not sure why though.

Bates definitely wants the club back. He is not going to lose out on any of his money. So far out of 35 parties who have expressed an interest his consortium is the only one with the money there for KPMG to see.

Ah yes, Revie.

35?! We struggled to get one!

And it was all looking so positive, and debt-free not so long ago...

Still is positive, debt free before the start of the season, no points reduction, no money going to various off shore companies owed by our chairman.

You might want to look at who the FSF, Aster and Krato (now in liquidation) are and given that those are the major creditors and didn't exist at Leeds until fairly recently and all are voting in favour of Bates or writing off the money for the CVA it might not be wrong to suggest that it was all part of a masterplan by Bates to get rid of the debt and make money! But I wouldn't say that. At least not until my name is removed from the creditors list.
