Taken from BBC website:

Leeds United still owe seven ex-players money among a lengthy list of around 1,350 creditors.

While Leeds no longer pay the likes of Robbie Fowler and Mark Viduka, they still are indebted to Danny Mills, Michael Ricketts, Eirik Bakke, Paul Butler, Steve Stone, Jermaine Wright and Sean Gregan.

Mills is due £216,667 in wages while Ricketts is owed a staggering £117,500 and under Football League rules all clubs in administration must pay up.

What a dick their ex-chairman was.....just shows how much cash was/is available to Premiership players

I have the full list in front of me, about 60 pages of people owed money.

I feel very sorry for those that are in dire need of the cash and got caught up in the whole fiasco.

Risdale and the whole board have a lot to answer for. :nono:

How long would it have taken Ricketts to earn £117k? Do you know what he was on, Starry?

Works out at about £20k per week going by what he is still owed, how long he was at the club and the length of contract.

Or £312k per game he started for us. Nice work if you can get it.

Your f***ed for years.....shame really as I don't mind Leeds, and can't believe you are now in Division 3 when clubs like Reading, Wigan, Pompey are in the top division

He was such an idiot.....when he was at Bolton he was an excellent striker, played for England away against the Dutch and then got ideas above his station and demanded a move and it has been downhill from then on

Yes I know he has earned a shed load of cash but looking back at his career, I bet he wished he never left Bolton

Does it say why the club owes these people money?

Nope, it's just a long list of creditors and how much they are owed.

Names and home addresses for each and every one of them should I fancy doorstepping Danny Mills ever.

Not bad at all. Not as profitable as Bogarde at Chelsea. Wasn't he on a £40k a week contract for a four year stint? Amassing a huge 4 appearances?!

Childline and West Yorkshire Ambulance service? :(

Glad to see we didn't buy our 8 points!

I read something along the lines of not everyone will get money. Don't they have to pay the football clubs back first before other creditors? Ignore that it is probably rubbish - it was something along those lines though, I am sure. Certainly different to the situation of a normal business.

So what is the rule, all players and football club should be paid in full and then everyone else gets whatever rate is agreed to?

Have skimmed over the super small print and just about every other league club bar BHA appears to be mentioned.

And yes Bad Ash under the rules of admin the 'club' have to pay up all footballing debts.

Whats the split of dets between those relating to football and those not. Do the agents fees count as footballing related?

Ah. That was it. I would have hoped that 'Uncle' Ken would have had the decency to pay Childline and The Ambulance service before slipping into administration, but when do you draw the line?

Starry, do you know how the club owes money to the Church group? Did they bless the water of the Goldfish?

I don't know, it's just a list of who is owed money. Right from big business £12million down to less than £500 debts.

ChildLine are 'only' owed £851 as well. :(

£8,089,955 is owed to football creditors (not sure who falls into that category though - the other clubs I guess?)
