Yes. But after 10 days ( rolling for the next year ) we go onto SSP, so I need to hold that ace for a while, in case I get real symptoms.

Fair enough. As for people working in entertainment shops etc where they are dealing with the public, I’m afraid I would tell my boss to shove it. I’d take my chances without their pitiful wages.
Frankly I hope this sinks some of the retail chains who treat staff worse than dogs. But I doubt it will.
In some shops defence I know some large chains that have sent staff home on full pay.

I really could scream at them. Idiots like that and the people who went to Brighton beach yesterday will soon stop me being able to go for a walk to relieve the boredom when the full lockdown has to come in.

I had this mindset about a week ago. Not anymore, too late if you get it now and show serious symptoms in a week. You may be up against someone else for a bed in hospital.

You're right of course - I agree. But I'd say it's a humanity thing. The aussie rules football league has still started, and they've had to close beaches. Some Americans are stockpiling guns, spring breakers still partying. Macron in France has had to plead with his public to respect the lockdown, and thousands of sergical masks have been stolen from some hospitals... I could go on. It's infuriating, but there has been and always will be a certain percentage of humanity who are a little bit thick, unfortunately.

To some extent I agree, but the situation has changed. Someone considering this three weeks’ ago would have had to have foregone socialising and sports for example. Now we all have to. Catching the virus ought not to be an option, but I fear that some people will regard it as such.

You will still likely be able to go for walks. You’re just not gonna be going out in groups and you’re gonna have to keep your distance. It will be similar to now but the advice will be enforced.
I’ve just come back from a walk and the amount of multi generational groups out together and the skate park full, is ludicrous. I am very much looking forward to witnessing some of these selfish morons fined and turned for home in the coming days.

Lots of groups that are clearly not just a single family too.

I fully appreciate I am part of that crowd right now, but we are a group of three who live under one roof and we’re trying to leave as much space as we can - standing well back at gates to allow others to pass etc.

Just been to Asda, numerous people in there with face mask on and gloves, most people keeping a distance from each other. I was standing by the coffee isle, when someone standing behind me decided to lean all over me to grab a jar of coffee. When I turned around he had gloves and a face mask on, I politely asked him to keep his distance, to which he replied that I should have had a mask on it I was worried about being infected. When I went to the car same person was standing outside with his mask on his chin eating his sandwich with his gloves on.

Today, NO glum back to school or work Sunday feeling for 10’s millions. The sun is out after 6 months of rain.

Skate park near me was rammed full of invincible teenagers. You’d think the parents would have at least have the sense to forbid it as much as they can.
