Not a chance with a black suit... however, if you start with a cheap pale grey/beige/whatever suit you will have a reasonable chance of dying it purple.

Cheap suit you don't want touse after .. no problem dye away! Try and fine a light coloured linen job? DON'T try to dye a dark suit it won't work

Go beige and a few sizes to big, if the suit has wool in it you'll be ironing/pressing the jacket for days to get it back into shape.

You may need to do it twice to get the joker purple you're looking for though.

Probably easier just to go for this look ratherthan the suit?

I know it's easier to go for that look, thats why i was debating whether or not it's 'reasonably' possible. I'm a bit of a lazy f*** so will probably just go for the shirt and waistcoat look, especially as i can't use a black suit as it will probably mean having to buy a more expensive suit just to dye it.

Cheers peeps
