I was 11 or 12. Now at 39 I still get the same butterflies in the stomach when i'm watching them on TV as I got standing in the old North Stand.

Wow that's creepy that was my first game too (and I was born in Dec 73!)

Aged 7 with my father. 16 March 1968 v Mansfield - i have the programme framed and on the bookcase beside me. Stood on the Chicken Run. Can remember the smell, the swearing and the yellow of Mansfield's shirts. Also remember the distinct feeling that this was very important in my relationship with my father and the start of a lifelong love affair.

I was 9 years old when my uncle took me to my first game in 1977.

Up until then, my favourite team had been Liverpool.

That all changed in the rain at the Goldstone vs Blackburn Rovers.
