Time was I could sleep through from night till morn and I wouldn't wake up even once, but these day it's a different story.

From the age of around 27 I wake up, like clock work, around two hours after going to bed. It's always for the loo and I can drop off again almost instantly.

My fear is, does this get worse with AGE? There has been occasion over the last year where I need to go TWICE during the same night! Where will it end!? By the time I'm 50, will I spend more time PEEING than asleep?

The missus says she never has to get up during the night, but then she is a sprightly 22 year old, so has she too got the regular night time trip to the BOG to look forward to as the years roll by?

How often do YOU need to PEE during the NIGHT?

I love waking up in the night because going to sleep is a lovely part of the day - all the comfort of lying in without the knowledge that you're going to have to get up!

Just to clarify, as the point of my poll got a bit MUDDLED.

The poll is about how many times you wake up, wether to go to the BOG or not.

After 31 years of 3-shift (nights, afternoons, days) my body clock and metabolism are shot to pieces ! My choice, I know, due to better money and conditions but it has taken it's toll. My boss has put me on days for the last 4 months but I still can't sleep through the night, that's why I'm awake now.

I wake up about three or four times in the night but not because I need the loo - it's because my son, who sleeps with us, kicks out in the night and keeps waking me up. Where's the option for that?

Roll on Christmas when he has to stay in his own bed.

Last night five times but I am 38 weeks pregnant. Usually get up at least once for the toilet and then three or four times for the children. Sleep?

My son used to get up for the toilet but we stopped him drinking after 6pm and now he sleeps through. Maybe you drink too much in the evening or something.
