[Albion] How much of the match day programme do you actually read?

Do you read:

- BN1 Hotline: news section
- Paul Barber's essay
- The Big Picture: Albion player reflects on aspects of his life
- Profiles of opposition players
- The Blaggers Guide to... the day's opposition
- Other features on the day's opposition
- Review of previous games
- Young Seagulls pages
- Snap Happy - Paul Hazlewood's behind the scenes on being a photographer
- Hiney's 'Get with the programme' feature
- Pages on women's team, Under-21s and Under-18s
- My Greatest Game
- Next at the Amex + Seagulls travel
- Time tunnel - a look at world events from a significant day in Albion history
- From the vaults - a look at a past game between the day's teams
- Three Minute Hero
- AITC pages
- Stats pages
- Mullers page

Just interested in how much of the programme is considered essential reading and how much is thought of as filler....

Yesterday's programme sits on top of the latest copy of Private Eye in the upstairs bog at Bracknell Towers.

So far, I have read:-

- Oscar's ghostwritten piece
- The Big Picture: Albion player reflects on aspects of his life
- Bits of Profiles of opposition players
- Bits of The Blaggers Guide to... the day's opposition
- Bits of Hiney's 'Get with the programme' feature

There's a couple of weeks to go, before it is replaced by the Huddersfield programme.

I find the Albion matchday programme a bit like the Pret A Manger sandwich range; they're all different but they're all oddly the same. So I only buy one or two a season. Unless me Albion Hat-Trick comes up trumps. Then I only buy one.

I have bought 3 programmes in my life, and have barely even read the front cover of any of them.

I can tell you which matches they are from though.

- Other features on the day's opposition- Nope
- Review of previous games - Yep
- Young Seagulls pages - Quick look
- Snap Happy - Paul Hazlewood's behind the scenes on being a photographer - Yep
- Hiney's 'Get with the programme' feature - Nope (sorry!)
- Pages on women's team, Under-21s and Under-18s - Yep to the U-21's and 18's nope to the ladies (sorry!)
- My Greatest Game - sometimes
- Next at the Amex + Seagulls travel - yep
- Time tunnel - a look at world events from a significant day in Albion history - yep
- From the vaults - a look at a past game between the day's teams - yep
- Three Minute Hero - hardly
- AITC pages - hardly
- Stats pages - at the end of the game for some reason
- Mullers page - yep

Just interested in how much of the programme is considered essential reading and how much is thought of as filler....

Most but not all (got to do something at half time when you don't drink and don't eat the food they serve up)

I tend to read the whole of the programme but not on match day!

Stopped buying when they went from £3 to £3.50, that was the straw that broke the camel's back.

I always read the players' school quiz. CMS didn't do too badly yesterday, but didn't know that the French for food was "nourriture". His "manger" wasn't a bad guess though.

I always buy away programmes to keep as a record of where I have been but rarely read them. Home programmes I used to buy every match but since getting to Falmer I don't bother. The Seagull Love Review is a very good read though and back copies can be found at work (for perusal during periods of rest).

I generally read a friends programme at half time rather than fight it out to get a pint. Tend to read a few of the articles but no specific ones. Never buy a program anymore. Do not see any value at £3.50 for what the content is.

at least no-one has stuck the Peter Brezovan centre-spread, with his piercing brown eyes, on their ceiling.

I tend to read it all of we've won, but find I have no interest in reading it if we've lost.

I am totally aware that there is really no logic in this.

Only kidding If I wanted a photo of the team I'd go for some off the official site or cut out of the Argus rather than the garish nightmares in the programme!
