Ironically Norman Bates from the film Psycho wasn't actually a psychopath.
Purely by virtue of the film's title he has become the character who iconically and most famously represents people's idea of what a psycopath is.
Norman Bates was actually psychotic with a dissociative identity disorder. He was not a psychopath and would actually fail the psycopath test. There are probably many on NSC who would score higher on that test than Norman Bates.
