Living good is as important as living long.

exactly this

put life into your days, not days into your life!

my old man went in his late 50's

so going on that,Brighton haven't got long to get back to Wembley and win something

I smoke at least 10 Benson & Hedges gold a day and have done since I was 15. Apart from that I lead a healthy life (no alcohol, plenty of exercise, fruit and vegetables every day and a physical job)

It's not something that keeps me awake at night worrying.

I don't see any posts where anyone is unduly worried. Talking about death is as natural as talking about life, as it is part of life.

I live my life as I want. When I go , I go, I just hope it will be quick when the day comes.

According to that link I should live to 94. That's the same age that another, similar, site gave me. Another 37 years to go ...

Lately I have been worrying about this! I am 55 and the last 30 years have flown by, I even had a dream last night that I was pissing blood.

I was expecting to only live until maybe 60 then in May my aorta collapsed so they did an emergency triple bypass and replaced my aorta, I followed that 10 days after leaving hospital with a bleeding duadinal ulcer and had another emergency operation to stop it.
I am now on the mend and expecting to live into my 80's.
But believe me, it's easy to say about not wanting to just exist or the like but when you are facing death straight in the face, you couldn't care less about quality of life you just want to live

Had a heart attack at 38 I'm 40 now, keep myself fit don't smoke, hardly ever drink and I've just ran my first sub 40 10k and sub 19 5k so trying to keep myself in good shape. All I want is to live until my children are grown up and safe so that's another 11 years to aim for first. :)))

Wow, well done. What were you like before the heart attack? Did you lead a healthy lifestyle before then? Or was the heart attack a wake-up call? I turn 40 this month and the idea of a heart attack before I see my son grow up is terrifying.
