There are several ways to value a business. Multiples of profit, Net Asset Value....

In cold business terms, the club is worthless. If you look at the assets (the players), and compare that to the debts owed to the directors, it would be negative. Factor in the undisputed fact that we lose money on normal activities and rely upon the directors to fund the club.

Hmmm, so why aren't there loads of rich business men queueing up to invest in the club. Because they are rich and good business men. Dick Knight on the other hand is reasonably well off (I would guess), a business man, but most importantly a FAN. This is something that so many people who call him TIGHT or call for him to go can't seem to grasp. Our club is worth JACK SHIT. We have a huge catchment zone, yet these so called FANS can't even fill out a Withdean.

at last someone who seems to grasp the concept that the directors keep the club going and no one would want to invest while that is the case unless they are a fan. Thank you my faith in NSC is returning
