Don't think he has been great, not to the point where a big club will pay the kind of money we'd want. I wouldn't be surprised to see Joao Pedro in our squad the next season as well. Right now I think clubs would take him at £50m but he could be twice that money if he lives up to his potential next season.

How many appearances?
Not even a full season injury free.
Any team is buying massive potential, arguably £50m is too much…

Excellent player nonetheless but lots to prove more broadly.
I don't think its possible to buy a 23-year-old established Premier League striker for any less than £50m.

But I think any interested club would think long and hard about it and considering cheaper options from abroad. JP scores a league goal from open play on average once every two months or so. Hardly a "must have"-player for any club right now.

Several big PL clubs are in need of a striker though and if there's not enough options on the market, there's some potential to sell him for a lot more money than his performances warrants.
