It was mentioned when DK first left.
I seem to remember that DK will be a figurehead (sort-of like Sir Bobby Charlton at Man Utd). Bloom will not be getting involved as he has a "manager and chief exec to do that" . Instead Dean White will be taking a more active roll in signing targets on behalf of Russel Slade.
(awaits someone to prove otherwise)

Be interested to know who Bloom's manager and chief executive are? Anyone know or am I being stupid and that just means an executive already at the club. I heard somewhere that his brother is involved in some way?
He'll no doubt have his network of advisors. They won't be on the payroll. Some of them may be poker playing chums.Be interested to know who Bloom's manager and chief executive are? I think you are being stupid
Chief Executive - Ken Brown
Manager - Russell Slade

I'd be disappointed if Knight's influence was now anything more than peripheral.
Because he's no longer the chairman, he's no longer in charge and the sooner the new man and his team learn the ropes the better.
If I was, say, Dicker of Stockport I'd want the new chairman or his right-hand man SELLING the Albion to me. I wouldn't want the former chairman doing the deal.
