Neither I nor my wife have been to a petrol station once since lockdown. Saved about £100 between us so far.

Zero, zilch. My car needs it's engine turning over as it's been about three weeks now.

We too will have saved when it is over. Not that we travel that much but the cumulative figure will be substantial.

Driven about 8 miles in 3 weeks between us.

The lack of away games is saving me about a tank of petrol a fortnight alone !

This. Plus a fortune on rail fares from London when I'm too hungover to drive on Saturday morning! :)

Luckily nothing as only been out twice for shopping and had two thirds of a tank before lockdown. Can't see me needing to fill up for probably another month.

A fair slab. I normally do 40 miles a day mincing up to HH and back M-F, so I usually burn about £130 a month I'd say, with the other travel as well.

What I save in petrol I spend on beer for the garden though, whilst WFH.

I normally do 2 tanks a month at £85 a go. Reckon I’ve used about £25 in 2 1/2 weeks

This is the only good thing about the lock down! I live in the New Forest and work at Farnborough Airport. Usually do 130 miles a day at 62mpg. Saving around £400 a month!!

Only times I've driven in the past month has been to buy food; I've bought no fuel in that time and still have plenty in the car. I guess garages aren't doing well, either.

Wife and I spend roughly £30 each on petrol a week as our workplaces are 40-45 minutes in opposite directions. We must have saved near £200 so far.
