Also it goes to show the quality of the Scots Premier, minus 4 possibly 5 teams, is about League One/League Two standard..

I think he is ok , but hasn't really shone as a massive player for us (bar the City game where everyone played fantastic - and he looked really good couple of games after that)

I'd reckon £75k is about a fair price , spend it on the midfield and a decent left back and we will be ok :)

I think I must be thinking of a different player. I thought we were talking about Steve Thomson, the waste of space in the Brighton midfield. He hs a knack of always being ten yards away from the ball, yet still never really showing for it. He's a central midfielder. Has he ever bossed a game in the blue and white? I'm gutted, not because he is leaving, but because I was really excited when we signed him but he has amounted to nothing.

Well said, you'd think someone who'd captained an SPL side would show some grit and bite - Thomson has shown neither!

Sick of Naylors comment week in week out about Thomson putting in a'tidy shift' - we need much much more from the central midfield.

Wont be missed!

If we could get enough to pay up Mickys contract, then I think it's definitely a win/win situation.

f*** off the both of you. You both live up north so presumably see the odd away game. thomson is quality - he's not fantastic but always does a f***ing job, unlike some of the squad

Don't think he is too bad a player, Vice captain under Wilkins and Adams so can't be that bad and pretty much a cert for a starting place. Like Hammond not every one appreciates what you have till its gone

Would be pleased with £50K. Hasn't been too bad from what I've seen , apparently he wants to return to Scotland for personal reasons as his family weren't settled down here. Hammond scored against the mighty Leeds this afternoon , RM Taylor who went to Elland Road with his best mate Dabbzy and his dad said he would give Hammond a player rating of 8 for today.

yeah right! :lolol::lolol::lolol:
Hammond bossed the midfield today at Elland Road and was MOM with an oustanding display. Showing that he can lead a team, and we miss somebody like him in the midfield now :thumbsup:

Didn't we pay £30,000? If that is the case then I honestly can't see how we can expect to make a profit on him.

He isn't as bad as some make it but we've got quite a few players in his mould, David Livermore for one, so I won't be too sad to see him go tbh.
