Judging by the armed police I saw outside the Newcastle turnstiles, I would imaging the security for Sunday could include.

Tanks
Air exclusion zone
Frigate at sea.

Can't be to carefull.........;)

Actually think there could be serious issues with ticketless Manc fans trying to get into the stadium for the presentation via all the stairwells to our areas. Really hope Sussex police have thought of this and have enough officers to cope. They were useless at the Palace game and you can't expect a steward on rubbish money with no power of arrest to put their arse on the line.

Depending on how many of them there are (surely we can't realistically be expecting more than 100 or so to actually be outside the stadium for the whole game waiting for FT?) wouldn't it be sensible policing to let them in and escort them to an area near the away end to watch the presentation? I know you can't guarantee where there'd be space, but I can't imagine that many Albion fans will stay to watch the presentation. I reckon 5-10k would still leave on 85 mins if it was US that was going to win the Prem.

I know it can't and won't happen but it's a shame - in an alternate universe (or rugby) it probably would, and there'd be no hassle at all.

Won't they try and be in a pub somewhere watching the game?
