How much do you spend on Christmas?

Living in a different hemisphere to most of my family I only have to spend about £50-70 for my 2 cousins and Aunt and Uncle.

We buy for the family, so around £1k all told!

Trouble is the older you get the less you need so the more difficult it is to think of something to buy. Our Christmas lists read like a saga holidays " what to take away with you" pamphlet.

Getting an accoustic guitar ...not expensive one though.

Just added it up. Shock horror, upwards of £1,000. Mainly spent on close family.

I genuinely have no idea, but what is spent, is spent willingly. I'd guess at about £600.

3 kids, £400 each.
Wife around £200, rest of family, no idea wifey does all that.
Holiday over Xmas snowboarding, £3,200 for 5 of us plus spending money!

I love Xmas but not at home!
