anything over 6 pints and whats the point - get a stroke in your early 60's through binging and then partial paralysis or wheelchair for 15 years - on top of scerosis of the liver.

only 10% of alcoholics ever get Sclerosis

Recently been a big binge drinker and tend to have 2 or 3 pints of cider before doing around 5 doubles, followed by around 4 or 5 shots before finishing on a few alchopops.

When I've not eaten I usually suffer almost complete memory loss from the time i hit the shots.

and more to the point well over the governments unit warning of 8 units for binge drinking and not having more than 4 units in a session so I should have gone home at 4.15 pm when I hit 4 units or worse 5.30pm when I hit 8 units and not carried on enjoying myself.

I cant normally count after the second one so i wouldnt know!

I tend to get merry quite quickly (2/3 pints) then it takes a far few more untill I acctually cant even have a mouthfull of beer wothout feeling sick, and then i move onto anything else thats alcaholic that i can get hold of!

State of wallet the morning after says "lots" but that doesn't generally mean I bought them all for me, or my homing sensor that must stop by for a Supermac Meal on the way home....

I enjoy the taste rather than the quantity, I never go out to get pissed.

my record was on pub golf, which i think ended up totalling around 15 pints, half of which were downed in one, and around 6 bottles of varying alcopops, all of which were 'strawpedoed'. all of this was done on a stomach that contained one bacon sandwich

don't drink anywhere near as much as i did last year now though. i guess because it was a novelty when i was 18. still enjoy the challenge of a yard of every now and again though!

I'm a very responsible drinker who knows his limits. If I'm face down in my own puke then that's it I'm on the shorts after that.

In the past I used to reach double figures when out and about, but these days tend to keep it down to a six or seven tops. Anything more and I'm a complete mess walking into random houses and using their bathroom while they sleep.

Ahem.

the great beauty of advancing age is that it takes so much less alcohol - and therefore costs much less money - to get drunk.

I used to drink from lunchtime into the early hours - now it's four pints and I've had enough - six and I'm pissed!

Problem is you piss more when you get old which means spending half the evening in the bog
:lolol:
