The best thing about the Albion taking up nearly every waking moment at present is that I find myself worrying less and less about whether or not I have PPI.

Oh I keep getting phone calls to remind me of this, even though its the last thing on my mind.

The dull part of the south coast
*As you asked, I've got up this morning, been to the gym, home, showered, about to walk into town to order some carpets, then I'll come back and spend twenty minutes or so on hold to Southern Water while I wait for them to tell me where the hell my waste water bills have got to.

Taking each game as it comes, me. 100% focused on the task(s) in hand.
Clever you! The male species can only do one task at a time - read NSC, check league table, visit other fans forums, go on line to read how wonderful the Albion are, read NSC . . . . . repeat this process ad infinitum until the end of the season when some degree of normality returns.

My life is complete turmoil at the moment, but all in a good way. In fact, this will probably be the greatest year of my life.
Writing this from the ship, currently in the Caribbean. My wife is home alone expecting our little un on May 22. I get back May 17, hope she can hang on. I'm only home for 3 weeks before I have to return to work.
So, that is one thing; then of course there's the little matter of the Albion. I really want us to achieve automatic obviously, but I just get the feeling that we'll win a play off final, and I'll be home for it.
Would it be too much to ask for England to win the Euros for the best treble ever?
If so, like I say, best year ever. (Well the first part obviously makes it that anyway, in case the Mrs sees this!)

Focusing on work right now is a major challenge :)

I am especially relishing the fact that all three teams are stepping up. "Pressures on us? **** you. Have that. Over to the next team." It's just BRILLIANT.

Completely this. Although I'd be feeling happier if one of our rivals had dropped away and we were as good as promoted already, I am absolutely gripped by this magnificent battle. Someone is going to have to blink, and it twists my guts that it's very likely to be us, but whichever two teams make it over the line they'll have absolutely earned that promotion.

Have completed a company course on customer service excellence today, geared on how to treat the customer, i.e. being polite and non aggressive
This will be sorely tested in the next few days, depending on results :) :)

Somewhere between 'Massively distracted' and 'What's that? There's something other than the Albion happening right now?;. Mind you, NSC is my home page.

Have a distance MA paper due on Friday that I promised myself I'd start yesterday. Currently have word open and a title and not much else. I also have 3 classes today which will involve no more preparation than me bringing the book to the classroom and asking the students what page we were on last lesson.

For that to happen, the following needs to take place:

1. Ipswich need to make up NINE points on Sheffield Wednesday, over the course of the final four matches.
2. Cardiff need to also drop 4 more than Ipswich.
3. Either Derby or Hull need to make up EIGHT points on the Albion (if we finish third, we would play sixth in the P/O semis, so couldn't face Ipswich in the final)
4. Both the Albion and Ipswich would have to win their semis (against Derby and Hull)

I think the odds are QUITE long...

I said as much but you know how 'die hard' some fans can be.

You know it's bad when you type www. and auto fill puts NSC Big Board as the page most visited.
I spend around an hour a day just filling in scores on my predictor trying to work out the best result tonight from Burnley Boro.
