Can we muster more than 750 for this one ?

I actually think we have a small chance of an upset here, they wont have a big crowd in and if we can get behind the boys I think we may get something.

I wasn't going to bother going as I am up in Scotland, but after being at Hampden last night its unlikely that Saturday could be anything as bad as that, and it inspired me to do the 500 mile or so round trip to see some decent ENGLISH football !!:jester:

Its one of the few stadiums I have never been to and I have to say I am looking forward to it.

Apparently they just won some kind of award for food too :lolol:

I'll be going, and taking my 12 year old son to his first ever away game (excluding the Cardiff final).

My wife comes from Wigan, so we spend a few weeks of the year "Up North". We have been to a number of Wigan games - it's a great stadium, just makes you realise how much we need Falmer.

Wigan have started well, but are not the best side defensively. They sold their best defender, the Cullip-esque De Vos to Ipswich, and have replaced him with Emerson Thome, the ex-Chelsea brazilian, who is not match fit. Unfortunately they have good pacy strikers and attacking midfielders, who will give Cullip & Butters a hard time.

I predict a 2-2 draw.

See you all there

:lolol:
