I personally couldn't be more disintrested in this one, which is a shame as it's the first time we have made round 5 for years. Appaling draw anyone at home would've done me.

I think a lot of people are actually very interested in this for the very reason that it's been years and that it's against Prem oppo. The ticket pricing is great but the cost of travel is going to put a lot of people off and it's a shame the club didn't do as they did at Villa last year and arrange coaches.

I know Crawley are going to take most of the coach capacity but the club could perhaps have been quicker offer the mark so now it's unlikely we will take more than a couple of thousand which is a real shame if that happens.

But the Costa love buses are going I believe. Surely they will just add as many are needed, so this shouldn't effect the crowd.

I would have thought at least 3,000 will go personally, given it's a premiership side away, and only TWO GAMES FROM WEMBLEY!

Agree with Goring Gull we are not going to win the cup so quite happy to tune in on the radio.
If you watched MOTD Stoke are a very physical side to make up for the lack of skill compared to the top teams, they could well mess up our promotion hopes by inflicting injuries to key players, also we are not going to receive a great deal from the gate money.
If you are going by rail do check up on the Engineering works planned for the weekend which could add some time to your journey.

Christ, why all the apathy about Stoke. We're in the 5th round for the first time that probably half the people on this would have experienced, against a good Premier League side?? I know the League is important this year, but a place in the quarter final in a FA Cup??? And it is winnable, lets sell out our allocation and give it all we have..

Not really interested in Stoke unless it becomes pay on the gate and we make a late decision on Saturday morning; Dons next for us

If it's pay on gate - which i doubt i'm only about an hour and half away and could possibly go at the last minute - I just see it as a hiding to nothjing for us against a very physical team who may have a chance of winning the competition themselves. the last thing we want is Bennett kicked in the air and out for a few games. The league is where it's at and with still about 20 games to go we really do need to focus on that. PLay the reserves.

one of the things that annoys me on this site is that it's always got to be 'someone else'. "The giant REMF flag MUST go to Coventry, but I can't take it....." " We've GOT to have bog rolls to throw at Watford, someone's got to organise it...." and so on and so on. Do people on here think coach travel organises its self? If you want a coach, make a few phone calls, Google it, whatever.Organise one yourself and you might even get your jouney free!

What is with all this "Stoke are a very physical side, our players won't be able to cope with them" rubbish? We play in f***ing League 1 for fucks sake! it's not like we haven't come up against physical teams before.

Look, if you're not going then fair enough, we all have reasons why we can't make every match. But stop trying to justify it by making out this is some kind of Sussex Senior cup tie against Hailsham. It's the 5th round of the FA cup and those of us going are really looking forward to what should be a cracking day out against Premiership opposition in a fantastic ground who we might, just might, turnover.

Can't wait myself!

I predict a bumper away audience, the opportunity of knocking out an EPL giant will be too good to miss, 3,500+. I am taking a minibus from Lyme Regis which I have managed to fill and as far as I know I am the only Albion fan here.

As somebody said, there are teams comprised almost entirely of giant-sized hoofers in this league (MK Dons spring to mind) so it's not as though Stoke should be a particular shock.

The only difference is that their donkeys should in theory be better than MK's donkeys.

I reckon it'll be Greer and Elphick as centre halves: Poyet seems to rest one of the two regular centre halves for cup games, and as Elphick is taller than El Abd methinks he'll play.

After the euphoria of getting past Watford - the draw was a big disapointment - I still think alot will travel though - where else could you go that day? Oh Old Trafford just up the road.
