2 in the living rooms, 2 in the bedrooms and a Sony portable from the early 70s that doesn't work post digital but I can't bear to throw away.

2 - one 26" in the living-room and one 15" in our bedroom (my daughter did have a TV for a while but it was an analogue one)

Back to one at the moment. And I'm not sure how much longer that situation can last.
 


Thinking about this thread, and also reading the BBC article made me think.

When I was young, particularly during the secondary school years, I was always glued to the telly , even watching it whilst doing my homework. Now I rarely watch it for the sake of, unless there is something I specifically want to see (and there ain't much of that around at the moment). My wife on the other hand was hardly allowed to watch any telly when she was younger only "nice" things like Blue Peter. Now she will watch any old shite that is on ("Come Dine With Me" FFS!).

I have absolutely no idea what conclusions I should draw from this regarding our daughters tv viewing habits.
