Its a special day for us - its my 9 year-old's first ever away game. I've taken him to pretty much every Saturday home game for two seasons now, and even that has him completely hooked. He loves the whole thing, but I've always explained to him that following the Albion can be SO much better than what Withers has to offer.

I promised in the summer that I'd take him to at least one away game this year, and this seemed like a good one, as its relatively local to us.

I just hope I've picked a good one and that the Albion faithful are in good voice. I want him to hear how 'GOSBTS' and 'We are Brighton' are really meant to sound.

For some reason the early rounds of the FA cup do not really get the fans travelling.

Remember going to Lincoln a few years back and there was only about 300 or so !!

A mate of a friend of another mate (so pretty good reliable source) tells me we have sold 650, so now with pay on the day I would hope 800.

I remember the Lincoln game, 0-3, Cameron scored and Lincoln's little firm wanted a fight after! Our support was dire, as mentioned probably about 300.

Generally (other than Hartlepool) our away support has been pretty poor this season. Only just over 600 to Bournemouth is pathetic!
