For me, it is one: my Mum's (landline) number alone. I don't know my own home number even.

Apart from my mobile number I know the home numbers of four of my friends. Alas none of them live with their parents anymore and only one set of parents still have the same number.
Still gives me some options when I need a numerical code.

Off the top of my head I'd have said two or three, but prompted to consider it, it's actually EIGHT.

My mobile, her mobile, home landline, parents, in-laws, work, boss's mobile (only because it used to be issued to me) and another work colleague.

Mine and my 2 previous. My mum's house and mobile. My dad's, brothers, boss, work office, wife's old and new. Nans house x 2 ( not 2 houses, 2 nans ) my two best friends house numbers. And all the local taxis ect.

I still know the number from the house I grew up in. I still know the numbers where my friends lived at that time. I know Brighton council no, the club number, friends and family. No idea why, I just don't forget them.

I used to remember numbers very well. Then mobiles appeared with contact functions. Now I remember few. Three months ago I moved into this flat and I still can't remember my land line number.

I'm curious to know why you say it's a curse. It's something that I, perhaps in ignorance, have often wished I had.

on topic: probably around 100 in total. It used to be more before the "contact"'function appeared on mobiles.

Prior to mobiles I actually prided myself on how many phone numbers I knew, now I only know 2, my mobile and our landline..........why is it this has happened? we had this conversation in work and most said the same, quite strange really.
