How many strikers do we need?

I guess we are expecting at least one more to come in. Given no emergency loans this year, will this be enough? How many of our current. strikers are first team ready?

We need 1 top striker as an absolute minimum.

Options for the 5th choice striker :
- Elvis
- New signing
- New signing for dev squad.
- Current dev squad striker.

I suspect we go with Elvis but also get in someone with higher level experience to upgrade the dev squad.

We would have to recall O'Grady before the summer window closed at the end of August or wait until January and re-call him in that window. Season long loans cannot be re-called outside of a transfer window. He isn't an option this season (or ever again for us as his contract is up at the end of 2016/17 season).

Depends whether we want them to score goals, or pretend it doesn't matter. Murray and Hemed are quality, but we have no depth. We need at least one more, but I'd drop the flop and go after two.

It won't work with March, Knockaert or Skalak this season.

This, all day long.

Once you start playing wingers as strikers you are then reducing the options and competition on the flanks as well, thus weakening 2 positions on the pitch.

Sometimes it worth a punt. Seemed to work quite well at Arsenal a few years ago!
