With Ward and Bruno out and out wing backs. Effectively this is a 3-5-2 formation in practice - as long as they attack attack attack. In fact, if they really attack it's more like a 3-2-5.

What the hell. Let's throw them all forward. PIG as well! :)

Ooooh, a pole as a rush-goalie
Reckon we'd lose 15-9 with that line up

I find myself wondering if there's a similar thread to this on the QPR board.

They seem to be to be underachieving this season considering their wage bill (larger than Borussia Dortmund's according to some reports yesterday:lolol:) and vast array of ex-Premier League players.

And how many of these teams are actually winning trophies? How are these English teams doing in Europe? How can you say our way isn't working, we finished 4th last year and have every chance of making the play-offs this year, having spent a hell of a lot less money that a lot of other clubs in the division? And apart from anything else, who on earth should we be playing up front with Ulloa? Obika?

Having known that CMS and Hoskins were going to be out for the best part of the season, the club should have sourced cover for forwards way before they did. Try playing Rodriguez where he used to play, try playing Lingard up front. AS for how are these teams doing, well Burnley are a solid second in the division using a player that was on loan to us, during the goal drought reign of Poyet, and Chelsea, unless i'm much mistaken are still in Europe. Even Barnsley played two up front against us at the Amex and WON. If Obika is not to be trusted to play alongside Ulloa then whats he doing at the club? As for finishing fourth, it could have been fifth, sixth, seventh etc etc, it took us nowhere and gained us nothing and as for every chance of making the play offs, we need to be realistic about that. How long have we been in the top six this year and if we don't start winning at home we will be overtaken especially as we have QPR tonight and Ipswich on the 22nd.
