it is the ONLY way to guarantee a ticket for game one, which will be sold out, and toutting will not be possible (tickets will have an emotional value, not a rational financial value0.

So, expect ST sales to be very high.

Depends what league we're in and ST prices doesn't it. How many ST holders do we have now? If we currently have 3000 ST holders and average gate of 5500 then i reckon ST's would go up to 5500-6000 and gates would be 9-11k in league 1. This is purely guess work btw.

An emotional value not a financial one? Where do you think financial value comes from?! But there may not be touting as a result of the electronic system. I'd be interested to know how many people actually wanted to go to the last game at the Goldstone.

Anyway, in answer to the original question: as many as they can sell, I'm sure. Hopefully 12,000+

I genuinely think we will have 12-14 thousand s/t holders in the first season pretty much regardless of what division we are in. I can remember when we first got to Withdean the uptake for season tickets was really high, in fact I'm pretty sure that only 1,000 tickets per game went on general sale.

I think there will close to 15,000 season ticket holders in the first season regardless of division.

There i people i know who have not been for years, all wanting season tickets and i imagine that to be the case all over.

The club can sell a maximum of 75% of their capacity as season tickets, leaving 10% for away fans and 15% for general sales.

So somewhere in the 17,000 region for Season tickets

Yep 17000 would be the max available i believe, we are planning to offer the whole of the East Stand (5404) for FA cup games etc. which would mean relocating all East STH elsewhere in the stadium, apparently.

This would only happen with the big clubs wanting to take a maximum allocation.

Unless the side is absolutely dreadful, and there is no good vibe surrounding the club, I firmly believe they're going to have to cap season tickets. 22,300 seats, 20,000 for home fans, I reckon they'll have to cap it at around 17,000 to enable limited single tickets to be taken up. And yes, I really do think all 17,000 season tickets will be sold as long as prices are reasonable.
