7, followed by confirmation of survival by beating Cardiff soon after.

Beat Huddersfield, draw with Burnley, lose the rest. 4 points.

8, draw Fulham and Watford, beat Burnley and Shuddersfield . . . . anything else a bonus, anything less disappointing . . . .that would leave us needing 6 points from 9 games, which should be 'doable'

This is what I picked also, it seems like the obvious answer.

I vote the 5-8 option. The poll is rubbish :lolol:

An optimistic 10 - points might not quite fall in a predictable pattern though. Looking forward to this run

10. Surprise at slight pessimism on here - we are better than Fulham, Burnley and Huddersfield, and only need 1 point elsewhere to make 10. Watford are a side we are capable of getting something from, and Leicester are wobbly at the moment.

Our recent games that weren't against top sides, we've looked really quite good.
Good analysis, although I'd reluctantly take 7 points if you offered me wins against Fulham and Burnley right now as part of that deal. (No chance Huddersfield will overtake us)

Why do people assume we will beat Fulham? They took the piss out of us at home for most of the game and we scraped a draw, which heghwton was happy about. They have just run Tottenham very close.

I would be happy with a point there!

I thought we were very unlucky not to beat Fulham at the Amex. Groß missed a penalty as well.

10 for me, and that sees us safe. Can see it being 9 and a loss at Fulham too.

You were at a different game to me. They scored against the run of play after we'd looked the better side first half, then when under pressure were gifted a second from an inexplicable Dunk mistake. In all fairness we should have gone on to win it, and missed a pen!

I agree though, Fulham are decent at home, we are not great away, so a point would seem a reasonable prediction of a result.
