[Albion] How many of yesterday's Man Utd team would get into our team?

Depends who the manager is. Fabian changed to suit the players from his ST Pauli formation. Ruben isn’t changing anything anytime soon. For him it is a disaster of a squad. He has 4 CBs that can’t play in a back 3 and turn at the speed of an oil tanker. They don’t really have wing back. The right RB was dreadful both defensively and attacking wise. Dalot is a decent RB.
There front 5 as individuals look ok on paper but in terms of actually being an effective pressing unit they maybe the worst in the PL. Amed appears to be the only attacking spark as well.
The only real assets worth money is Mainoo, Dalot and Garnacho. The rest are on massive contracts that no other club in there right mind would touch with a barge pole.

Difficult to tell. Some of their players would be better for us than they've been for United.

There's not a sensible person who thinks Joel Veltman is a better footballer than Diogo Dalot, but as long as Velts look great for us and Dalot shite for them its hard to say he'd get into our team... though he probably would. Same goes for a couple of other United players.

Equally, I think someone like Minteh would have been mentally destroyed by MUFC within five minutes and look completely shit every game.

I thought Amad looked tasty, but it won't be long before Utd ruin him like they seem to have done with Mainoo.
I've no idea if Yoro is any good or not, but he's a no from me as he looks far too loppy.

I'm sure he'll learn a lot from Maguire and Lindelöf-Nilsson and end up in West Bromwich within 3 years.

Because they're young, promising and potentially malleable Mainoo and (if he recognised the error of his ways in leaving a far better club) Collyer.

Don't know that they'd get in the team ahead of any of ours though.

We could probably find a slot for Amad? I wouldn't want Bruno even if he would improve our team

Bart, Estupinian, Van Hecke, Baleba, Mitoma, and Joao Pedro undoubtedly make their XI. Minteh too in his current form
Amad, yeah.

Also, I'm going to hold up my hand and say that he comes across well in interviews, and when he's not flapping his arms in frustration when our boys are giving him and his weebles the run around, Bruno..... these are a good player.

Amad?

He was easily their best player yesterday and gave us a hard time down the wing; the only player with anything about them.

Very good player who is going to be a star, I reckon.
Or a ruin (if he stays at United).

Only Wet Sham have a greater ability to singe good players and coach them into mediocrity.
(I can only assume that Bowen cocks a def 'un in training).

I guess the thread title is the wrong question. It assumes Brighton players have the shirt already and a Man U player would have to be obviously better to take it. Better to ask if you were to build a composite team how many would you have from both sides.

Lots of very narrow calls in there, but on form we probably have 6 or 7 of the players to their 4 or 5

And maybe Everton!
Yeah, what's that expression?

Ah yes. "Got wet sham and Everton written all over it" :lolol:

(I take it you're back from the Amex by now. Record low crowd was it?)

You mean Tottenham? My first thought when they sign a new player is 'pension'.
Whitehart Lane?
The church of the latterday Klinsman?
