Stockdale
Dunk
Kayal

Ones with potential:
Walton
Rea
Bennett
Ince
March
Tex (more likely than the others listed)

Stephens and LuaLua are not too far off, both before their playing peak too.

Stephens, March and JFC. Shame bruno is past his best as he would have coped with the step up.

Beram Kayal, Joe Bennett, Rohan Ince (if he keeps developing at his current rate), Dale Stephens, Solly March.

That's it, and that's the problem. Bruno could probably play at that level too, and we have a number of players who would have a go but wouldn't be up to it. If we're asking for players who are of that standard without being relegated, only the players above are good enough and possibly only Beram Kayal could play for more than half of the teams in the current Premier League.

Stockdale, Kayal, Ince and maybe Dunk.

Bruno could have but way past his prime now sadly.

Teixeira could but won't be ours and won't for Liverpool. Expect him to end up at Derby or Forest next season as they look for a sustained promotion push.

Bennett? Not at left back, he's never been the strongest defensively and today he was completely outdone by a relatively pacey winger. They're a lot faster in the Premier League.

You may well be surprised that, when you finally reach the Premier League, that a number of players who you'd just assumed were Championship "quality" actually blossom and grow into Premier "quality".

Take us, we've spunked millions on loads of players yet there is a backbone of about seven players playing regularly who got us promoted in the first place. I'd doubt anyone would have thought back then that, maybe excluding Zaha, Bolasie and Speroni, that team were capable of surviving without replacing most of that team.

There's that, and the fact that the quality of the Premier League isn't actually that good. The highlights shown on MOTD obvously never show just how much unexciting dross is served up on a weekly basis.

IMHO we'll continue to slow-drip players into the Premier League, possibly forever, by selling them to Premier League clubs who value their quality more than we do.

I'm surprised Ince has a few made a few lists, probably won't even start for us when Crofts and Stephens are both fit!
