I did my work experience at Amex in about 1987.
I was there on 4th July. Free BURGERS in the canteen. And I looked at Noel Edmonds and Elton Johns credit card accounts. Noel had been doing a lot of shopping at garden centres if I recall rightly.

I spent most of the week searching for famous peoples accounts (and making the tea, obviously).

Reminds me of when I was showing someone round one of our city trading floors, at my last company, which housed about 300 people. The guy said to me "how many people work here ?" and I said "about half of them !".
