Loads of jobs rely on your being able to understand what motivates people - not just personnel, but also pretty much any kind of management or marketing role in any field, whatever takes your fancy. I went into advertising as a copywriter and ended up as Creative Director of an ad agency.

that sounds really good! i didnt know i could get into stuff like that from social sciences! i always thought it would lead to social work which doesnt really appeal! thanks lush!
