Part-time during school and for a while after I did satellite installations; DJing; random IT contract work - rollouts mostly, Windows XP upgrades bought me a car; and worked for a TV station that went spectacularly bust.

Proper full-times:
BT 7 months
Helix (Medical IT firm) 9 years
UTV (1 year and counting)

Was thinking about this last night and came up with a list that somewhat surprised me as some people stay in a job for ages.

So how many have you had since leaving school.

1: Stacking shelves in Kwik Save in Chorley.
2: Warehouse man in Carpet Shop in Irlam.
3: Butcher in Wigan.
4: Tudor Pub in Wigan.
5: Shelf picker in Godalming.
6: Sun Pub in Godalming.
7: Salesman in carpet shop in Wigan.
8: Carpet fitter for hard flooring firm included getting city and guilds in Pemberton.
9: Self Employed carpet fitter Manchester & Liverpool area.
10: Self Employed carpet fitter North London.
11: Estimator flooring North London for big chain.
12: Estimator flooring North London for Smaller chain.
13: Loss adjuster for insurance firms flooring specialty North London based for a firm in Preston.
14: Estimator flooring North London for high end market.
15: Contracts manager / Sales for small firm flooring firm in Lancing dealing with well known house builders.

15 since I left school at the age of 15 which should mean I change on average jobs every two years. However I have been with the company I am at now for four years and I am getting itchy feet, anyone else like this and what does this make me ?

Very much like you... about 3 years with the same company is my limit, averaging around 2 years in each.

the link takes me here........
lol - i don't get that in the 'You may want to check out: section' - makes me wonder what you normally look up online to get that

First one is a book with the number 5 (5 bananas) and then a picture of 6 bananas next to it
Then click on next for the next one one (totally pointless attempt at humour now if it has to be explained & too late to edit it)

but they are also here (probably should have used this link in my first post instead)
