I need to race through my list of Summer threads as the season is nearly here.

So, how many grammes of dried pasta do you cook per person?

A big handful for each person (and I’ve got hands like shovels).

Have to weigh it or I end up with twice as much as I can eat. Usually go about 90g

Don't normally weigh it, but have in the past, and it's well over 75 g, regardless of the end meal.

75g here in HA4.
Normal pasta for moi and gluten free for Mrs AR.
With the gluten free option, you'd never know the difference if unaware
I find too much pasta bloats me out, hence the recommended weight.

Isn’t the correct answer a handful + some more of the pack is nearly empty or you dropped some

You need to chuck some in the pot with some water

You're not trying to pretend you're a student under 40 again

No idea. I put the raw pasta in a bowl to gauge how much I need and then put it into the boiling water. Repeat this exercise for however many people are eating it.

FFS! The game against Luton can't come soon enough

pour it in and if it turns out to be too much, wait for it to cool and make tuna and sweetcorn Mayo pasta for work the next day

100g if dried pasta. I also make my own, and go by “sight” when doing this.

You might want to stay away until Saturday afternoon - I have a lot of “summer threads” to get through.

My posts could be off-season defining.
