I'd assured the Japanese woman who'd bought my son's seat on the ticket exchange that Mitoma would be on at some point, so I was looking around anxiously for her when we saw him warming up with Ansu at the end of half time. Happily she sat down in good time to see his first, and was extra-pleased to see the brace.
How many single Japanese women were there today? ???

Kaoru needs to watch his back!

I have some bad news for you.

I sit in the row in front of you.

(said lady was about 8 seats to my left; @monty uk found a flag left from last match which he gave her to wave.)
Do you? I would like to say hi sometime! I am probably only a few seats away from you, a family with a young lad sit in front and I think you may sit to their left. My seat is 193.

My brother and I noticed the aforesaid lady arriving before the game and supping a beer in her seat. She managed to drink a fair bit before the steward plucked up courage to ask her to go into the concourse and bless her she couldn't really understand for a while what was going on. The chaps behind her were kind and looked after her stuff while she disappeared to drink her drink. As soon as our second goal went in I looked over hoping she was there but alas.

I missed one, but neither of the ones you’re referring to.

I missed theirs, as I was turned to my mother, who sits one seat South of me, explaining for the thousandth time that hoofing it out of defence is not the way we play. Instead, we try to draw attackers onto us and then pass through them into the space behind. Yes, it’s bound to go wrong at some point, but it hasn’t really yet, and it’s unlikely to against Bournemouth.

“They’ve scored”, she says - she was facing North.
“Oh”, I said.

I missed Mitoma's first, there was washing to hang out. I'd timed the washing cycle to half time perfection but a particularly tricky undersheet/duvet cover combination caused an unexpected delay......I sauntered back to watch the second half pleased with my planning and in the comforting knowledge that, at the most, I'd be back watching within a few seconds of the restart......about 25 seconds as it happens, and more than a little confused to see us celebrating a goal!

I'm seat 195. Today I was wearing a solid blue home shirt with Lamptey 2 on the back. Yes, I'm just to the left of (today) the ginger lad's missus (ginger lad disputes every decision, not here today) and ginger nipper. I have a lovely full head of hair - quite something for a gentleman of my age.

You must sit with the bloke who imputes the referee over every slightest piece of tomfoolery by the opponents. I gave him a look a game or so ago. I think he realised he'd taken the panto a bit too far.

It's you isn't it? ??? :ROFLMAO:

Haha yes maybe, but probably more likely to be my brother who doesn't look in the least like me. I am quite sadly bald unlike you and he who quite clearly have superior genes!

I feel sure I will recognise you but sadly didn't notice the Lamptey shirt today.

Missed Mitoma's goal at the start of the 2nd half. Nature was calling and the prostate is getting larger. Who scores that soon at the beginning of the half?

There’s a lady in our row who always arrives after kick off, goes into the concourse 3 or 4 minutes before half time, returns 3 or 4 minutes into the second half, and leaves on 87 minutes.

I’ve lost count of the number of goals she’s missed. Seems a total waste of money to me and therefore probably a WOAT too.

Double trouble today for half-time concourse dwellers.

Anyone 'fessing up to missing both goals either side of half-time?
Yes and I’m not usually that guy. Last goal I missed was West Ham away 3-3 when we made it 2-1 and was boozing still. I won’t bore you with the details but I was going mental in the bogs with others for one 🤪

Baffles me, not to mention how embarrassing to see a max exodus of "supporters" both before halftime and the final whistle.......if they were, for arguments sake at the cinema and the film was going to have a final twist, would they do the same ?

Bloke in the second row told me to f*** off back to the concourse so we score again 🤣👍 legend

Silly old bat
I missed the own goal by going to the loo. I’m not going to apologise for that. When you’ve got to go, you’ve got to go. I heard the cheers.
