I take it I'm also classed as a fair weather fan because I didn't renew my season ticket and I'm not going to many games this season even though I've been supporting us for 30 years home and away?

Strange logic some people have got.
No.You're just a Grumpy Old Sourpuss.:lolol: :lolol:

I wasn't making the point about who's attending more games. That's in the same league as my dads better than yours.

So you don't live in Warninglid then?

West...West.......WEST SUSSEX
Its great to see the passion still bubbles under a few peoples skin. I have been a ground season ticket holder in the old Goldstone days of old (for five years) and used to go to numerous away games and also reserve games and open days down the old ground and all that so i would consider myself a supporter of sorts. I have lost a lot of passion through one main thing............cost. I have supported the club through the hard times at Gillingham, gone on marches at Fulham and the Falmer march, witnessed the pitch invasions at the Goldstone and the last game, all the wembley and play-off games but have realised i am going to less and less games every year! Last year i only went to about 3 home games and 5or 6 away games, this season will probably be less. Its not that i have chosen to boycott games because i don't agree or hate the Manager or because the type of football we play at times is pants! ( nothing can be as bad as traveling to the Priestfield and watching the dross we used to watch......but we still used to go!!) No i am afraid to say football IMO is getting far to expensive. The Mortgage needs to be paid and the Bills are relentless at coming in. I would love to be Able to go to more games but sometimes the sums don't add up. £23.50 to watch a third division football match in the rain at a complete shithole is just beyond me most weeks! (and it does not stop at the match ticket does it!!) I know people will say "well i bet you could afford a ticket for a play-off final" and its true i could and i would but the fact remains if the price of a ticket was say £10 i reckon i would go to about 10-15 home games and about 10 away.......................i think there are a lot of passionate fans out there not attending games simply because they cannot afford it, Utter respect for those who can and make following the Albion there life:clap:

If attendances hold up with lower ST sales, that means more revenue coming into the club as a season ticket is nothing more than a bulk-buy discount.

I would imagine something in the region of 35-plus games, all the home games though as the club need the income.
