No. Surely EVERYONE loves Steve Gritt. I could come home and find him in bed with my missus, and I couldn't be angry with him.

"So, Steve, what on EARTH happened when the husband walked walked?"
"Strangest thing. He hugged me, thanked me for Hereford, and asked for my autograph."
Oh I agree. It's just if you look at the weirdo's criteria for hating Slade then Gritt actually does worse.

The only reason McGhee lost his way is because Dick Knight wouldn't give him any money for players, this is why he ended up playing so many of them out of position, he was trying to do his best with limited resources.
Lets face it who hasn't fallen out with Leon Knight, he was right to stand his ground against that idiot the only problem being he was our best player.
Some people have short memories, you may not have liked him as a person but as a manager for us he did a pretty good job under trying circumstances.

I can't say I've ever hated an Albion manager from the off although I never really liked Peter Taylor or Martin Hinshelwood.

I grew to hate McGhee and Lloyd at the end.

Hated Adams the first time he was here let alone the second. Always had a soft spot for Salde as he always came over as a decent man as well as what he did for us after the Adams f**k up
Adams was a very odd bloke, IMO. Utterly paranoid.

I actually quite liked him first time round, but you could tell early on he was only ever going to get his tried and tested lower division winners in. However, after 18 months it started to work so that was great. Not so great was his constant touting for a bigger job, and that started before he'd even won anything at this club.

I think it was that touting that stuck in the craw by the time he arrived second time round. "Not too small for you now are we Micky?" after he'd bumbled along doing, achieving fück all since leaving Leicester. And then with all his previous troops too old, he went about dismantling Wilkins' decent side and nearly sent us down to whatever division 4 was called back then.

From Archie Macaulay (poor sod ended up as a traffic warden) onwards, haven't really disliked any of them. Got a bit peed off now and again, but that's about it.

Never really hated any of our managers, although what happened during Micky Adams' second spell was sad, he just didn't seem to be able to find a way to pull the team out of it :(

After over 42 years of supporting the Albion i feel quite lucky that only three managers are on my list.
MELIA
LLOYD

This is not a list of worse managers just the ones you didn't really like.
Been pretty happy with the rest tbh which is very positive, over to you nsc.
Why look back in such a negative way? They all tried their best, okay it didn't work out for some, thats life. look forward Mr Rev, like how many are we going to beat Leeds by.

I thought a dislike for three managers in over 43 years was quite positive, would never dislike a player or manager who was not up to the job,its the person that picks a sub standard player/manager that's at fault.

Favourite manager would be chris cattlin the right man with the wrong board???

Well you best get used to them as the club does not look like changing its philosophy anytime soon.

Why does, oscar garcia get his team playing EXACTLY the same way? There aren't two ways football can be played you know, and if we played something like the 2009-10 Barcelona team I'd be very happy.

Controversial, but the only manager i've wanted out for Hinshelwood. Bless him he was a good servant to the club in many ways, but never should have been made manager. Maybe it wasn't his fault that he became manager, but there you go.
People forget that during season 91/92 (after the play offs), it was largely he who ran the team as Bazza was occupied elsewhere.. and we got relegated.

Never over keen on Wilkins due to the stories of the way he bullied the youth team.

Yes i heard similar. I always suspected there was more to his departure than has been disclosed.
