I wonder how many The bag man has racked up , I spoke to him on the platform at Southend a few years ago and I'm sure he said he had only missed 3 games in 36 years (give or take a year or two ) , that's just amazing .

Over a thousand I would think. I’m working that out with an average of 20 games a season over 50 years. Missing cup games over the last 30 years should equal away games I’ve been to easily.

It still frustrates me , enthrals me in equal measures as well.

I've been going roughly since 1979 when I could afford to buy my own tickets with pocket and paper round money originally. I've missed several years living abroad, as I do now, and lost interest in football totally for a few years in the late 80's when my own 'career' was curtailed by injury at 23 years old.
Even so I've had several years as a season ticket holder at all three Brighton based grounds and a sprinkling of away games so think I have seen around 400 live games.

First game in 69, on and off to 78-87 which is when I could afford a season ticket every year. After that I was moving around but did get to the Withdean a few times. Since moving to the USA I have managed to get across to see at least 1 game every season. Until now! But I do see every game on the Telebox here. In person around 500-600.

At least 10 visits to the Goldstone ,2 to Gillingham including a 0 0 v Hartlepool the worst game i've ever watched. 5 trips to Withdean , 3 at The Amex . Away games at Darlo ,Ipswich twice and attacked by both sets of chaps ,Sheff United ,Bradford ,Bournemouth ,Palace 5 0 ,Leeds,Cheltenham ,Reading and Plymouth. I make that 31.

First match 1978, season ticket holder 1979 to 1990, part STH at Gillingham shared with 2 others. S TH Last Two years at Withdean up to now. Missed about 20 games in total at home in that time, 45 away games. That must be a fair few.

Saw my first Albion game in season 1985/86, purchased a season ticket the following season and kept it until this day, so seen nearly all home league & cup games, plus quite a few away during the early years.

Best guess would be somewhere between 800 & 900.

I keep a spreadsheet with all my games listed. The current total is 822.

My milestone games were:

1 - Huddersfield (h), 25/02/1995, Division Two, 0-0
25 - Carlisle (h), 09/01/1999, Division Three, 1-3 (Hart)
100 - Wimbledon (h), 21/08/2001, League Cup, 2-1 (Zamora 2)
250 - Tottenham (a), 08/01/2005, FA Cup, 1-2 (Carpenter)
500 - Brentford (a) 08/03/2011, League One, 1-0 (OG)
750 - Watford (h), 23/12/2017, Premier League, 1-0 (Gross)

I also have a spreadsheet which I started as a youngster and have kept going, out of habit more than anything.

Current total is 1221 (822 home, 399 away)

Live, in person. Around 30
As a young boy at the goldstone ground I went about 10 times total. I remember getting Dean Wilkins’ autograph “for my Auntie”
I wasn’t allowed to attend any game at Gillingham, I was too young and it was only my Mum and my Gran that had season tickets.
Withdean was where I saw the most, I was fortunate enough to sit next to Dick Knight on multiple occasions. Dick’s niece was a friend of mine at school and I also got to take my Grans season ticket every now and then. The Withdean years marked my youth more than the Goldstone.
I’ve lived in Barcelona since 2005, only been to the Amex 4 times

Not sure in total but I have certainly been to more away games than home. Grew up in Devon so had trips to Torquay (that freezing new year game where Nelson scored a late winner for Torquay being a painful one) whereas codner from halfway at Plymouth was fun and an angry little fella from arsenal called dickov missing a pen at Exeter. They are the more memorable matches down there. I then went to uni in the midlands and stayed here so basically been to all the midlands grounds and a few others to see us. Spending my wedding anniversary with a mate and young son watching Chris o Grady miss a late pen at Walsall in the league cup was a low point. Final day at notts county was fun.

Wasn’t that Brentford one in the middle of our run of 7 wins in March and most were 1-0?

Oy my word, there is a question! How many games? I got a season ticket at the Goldstone as soon as I got my first full time job in 1988. Up to that point I'd only watched a handful of games when my dad took me, but from that time on up until the present day, I've been a season ticket holder for every season except for the time we were at the Priestfield, and for one season in 2003 when my twins were born (couldn't get that one approved by Mrs Scoffers!!) During those early years I went to almost (but not all) home and away games, mostly taking the bus, but sometimes the train, and in one case even a mini-bus away to Middlesborough!.

No idea how many games that is, but enough to be battle-hardened enough to not get over-emotional when we lose 5-0 to Manchester City.
Guinness Boy with me for a lot of that time!
