How LUCKY are we to have Nicky Forster playing for us?

Given the utter farce that we have endured in the last season and a half since Wilkins DISGRACEFUL sacking, how lucky are we as fans to have an absolute model professional - and OUTSTANDING footballer - in Nicky Forster at the club when, frankly, he could be playing for a MUCH better club?

Throughout all this time, and despite some of the worst performances I have witnessed in 20 seasons of supporting the Albion he has not let it affect him or allowed his own game to stoop to the level that some of the players have.

In 2 and a bit seasons, I still have not witnessed a poor performance from Mr Forster. What a top top man and top player. One of my favourite players ever and a true legend.

Nicky, we salute you

No, he could not be playing for a much better club, not at his age, no way.

But yeah, a very good player to have on board. But doesn't every team have someone like him?

and if you haven't seen a poor performance from him you weren't there last week, when his only contributions were missing a one on one and missing an open goal

He could easily be playing in a top 6 side in my opinion.

Even if you take his goals record away...

(he has scored 21 goals in 39 games since the start of last season playing for an AWFUL side)...

his all-round hame is absolutely brilliant.

Oh no doubt at all he could play for a top 6 side. By much better i presumed Championship, which i think is too much for him with his legs and injurys.

Great record too, no-one can take that away from him.

i hate to say it but we were so much better when we had some of the old heads (who weren't only worried about there hair, going clubbing all the time) like oatway, butters, chippy etc. Forster's on his own i'm afraid.

A) not sure what luck has to do with it, he's under contract.
B) not sure what Wilkins as got to do with it, as I recall Forster was one of those who didn't get on with him.
C) I love Nicky Forster

And he writes a very good column in the "Argus" every week too, some quite insight-ful stuff.

At least I assume he does.......

Are you sure you been watching them for 20 seasons? I can think of plenty worse than the last 2 seasons

Completely agree.

We are a one man attack IMO. The rest of our strikers should be consigned to League 2 at best. Perhaps they know this, so are trying to get us relegated to enable them to 'look good' next year?

Of course, that's it. The players want us to get relegated so they all get a pay cut-f***ing brilliant plan!
