Finish Friday through to 28th, but then thanks to those lovely people at Southern Railways deciding to do major engineering works in between Christmas and New Year, I have persuaded my boss to allow me to *ahem, cough, splutter work from home ahem, cough, splutter* on 29th 30th & 31st. So not back in office until 2/1/07
:clap2:

Thanks Southern Railways

Oh, and then on 14th Jan I'm off for a week of this

Ahem check my earlier post and you will see that I have already beaten that with no back to work date as yet. And I am in full time employment before you say I am on the dole;)

Half day Friday, then back Jan 2nd. However, typically of the way my company does things, they've waited 'til after I'd booked all my holiday (booking and paying for the break I've just taken, in the process) before informing people that the office would be closed over the break and it must be taken as holiday. Anybody without holiday has to either work overtime to make up the hours, or take them unpaid.

This can't be legal, surely? Anybody? Can't find any information specific to this anywhere, and NABS, my industry's helpline thingy, says they can do it. Anybody know better?

Off 24th, 25th and 26th, work the 27th, then off from the 28th for 10 days :clap2:

If that was me I'd be very tempted to go sick on the 27th.

Kids finished on 14th December and go back on the 11th January.
