[Albion] How long will YOU give Fab before calling for his head

But he hasnt had much benefit from that £200m. Much of it out on loan or injured.
This is oft mentioned recently and very true. Never being able to name your strongest line up and in fact seldom being able to name the same line up two games on the bounce is far from ideal. Potential new star players never being able to string more than a couple of games together, other than Rutter, to get up to speed is infuriating and a few appear to be long term sick notes, joining the long term injuries we have carried over from last season.

Apart from Hyppia obviously I don’t really remember calling for the head of any of our managers…. Maybe rose tinted glasses of course but it seems all our dire runs of form historically have been when we simply didn’t have the players required.

Right now our defenders are struggling Igor has had some great performances but has shipped some awful goals… Dunk seems, well .. ‘ring rusty’ is all I’m prepared to go at this point…. Van Hecke is probably our best defender but has had some poor performances and we’ve got all our right backs injured.

I was scared when we got rid off Hughton because all my ambition was simply to survive in the Premier League…. we’re bringing in a creative football manager??? I was very pessimistic

I didn’t want Potter to go …. surely that was the best we had ever played at that point ? Even allowing for the boring games.

I didn’t want RDZ to go … thinking it was just a lull and we would return to the dizzying heights of his early matches

And I don’t want Fab to go because I think the players are underperforming at the moment and we will turn it around.

I'd like to say "at least until the end of the season", but you never can tell. Go another four winless games and we're in a bit of a crisis and we don't really know how the manager would deal with that.

Funny game. Today I'd say he's steady as a rock until the end of the season, but in just a month - day after Ipswich - I could be sitting here saying "I'm surprised if he lasts the month".

That’s a fair assessment of the football situation but at what point will YOU be calling for his head?

1 point or less against WHU and Brentford and the calls will be deafening. This team is poorly coached in almost every aspect of the game right now and that is on the coaching staff.

Good question... if we're winless after Everton in late January I would maybe suggest its time to do drastic stuff. But its a lot of games until then.

For me it would need to be a sustained bad period where I am able to convince myself that the fault is MORE with the manager underperforming than the players doing so.

At the moment I am reasonably calm although I think a lot of our players are underperforming which is the bigger concern for me at the moment. Regardless of our new signings, are there any of our (relatively young in some cases) old guard that you have not seen play consistently better for sustained number of matches? Is anyone playing the best you’ve seen them ? Mitoma pedro Estupinan, van Hecke, dunk. I will give you Welbeck but that’s all

I disagree. He hasn't been able to put out a consistent team out all season. Our continuous injuries/absenses are ridiculous and just keep coming.

That said he CHOSE to break up JPvH & Igor, which was the wrong thing to do and I said so at the time, BUT I can completely understand why he made that decision. Since then the wheels have fallen off. Partly because Dunk is nowhere near his best and that seems to have affected JPvH too.

Dunk is rightly coming in for critism, but Pedro seems to be getting off lightly, I think he's been pretty poor since his return, when he's not at it he unbalances us.

We are still playing 'OK' IMO most of the time. I thought for long periods vs Fulham and Palace we were the better team but we just can't keep a clean sheet, meaning we need to score a minimum of 2 to even think about 3 points.

He has proved himself to be flexible - after Chelsea he ditched the high line, it was only back vs Palace because we were 2-0 down and chasing it.

He does need to toughen up the midfield IMO, which is why I'd start both Wieffer and Baleba at West Ham, I'd have Hinch in there too if available.

The guy can't legistate for appalling individual errors like Lamptey (2nd) and Dunk (3rd) on Sunday or Bart vs Fulham or Igor vs Leicester, they're absolutely killing us at the moment.

If we finish below 12th then I think he might be in trouble though.

I don't think they've been at their best, but I think our individual performances has been better than our team performance. Some problems in shape and balance.

Can Pedro and Rutter play in the same front line? We looked better this season with Welbeck at 9 and Rutter at 10. I was interested on Sunday to see Pedro at 9 and Rutter at 10 but I'm not sure it worked. Mainly because Pedro is very different to Welbeck.

True, although Pedro has come in for criticism he has made two amazing flicks that let players in on goal, both times the strikes weren’t good enough. Game changers if they’d gone in, as they probably should have.

We rode our luck early season, that has now completely disappeared and we have been having no luck at all

That capitulation against Wolves seems to have drained the cavalier confidence we had before

Given that I've only ever wanted two managers to go (Hyypia and Adams MkII), I'm going to say at least the season. Maybe longer.

Our aim is top 10 side consistently. RDZ finished 11th and I wasn't desperate for him to leave. If Hurzler finishes in the top 12 then he will be close enough. We had a great run early on and now a poor run, no need to change manager just yet. I'd be surprised if there was any push from the club to see him gone, we need this to be a success and everyone will be helping wherever possible

Yeah I think they can if we drop 1-2 of the other attacking players and bring in another defender and/or midfielder. They both love the ball and they can both have it, but not if Minteh and Mitoma also want it pretty much all the time.
