glad about that , because I was trying to square the circle whereby Nelson mandela forgave the White South African government and population for depriving him 26 odd years of his life, whereas we cant forgive a referee a decision that cost us a game and one dreadful tackle that broke someones leg a good 20 odd years ago.

I have hated MU for years you can't buy success (or me) and be a true football club.

So did Paddy, win tickets. We don't know how, probably some friend of his thinking it is funny to enter him in a competition(s). He played along and said
he was going then about half hour before he was due to be there phoned them from Elland Road where we were playing Blackburn (?) and told them exactly what to do with their tickets and competition. Carlsberg banned him from from any future competitions for his bad behaviour. Oh well.

True. Life is too short. Unfortunately not everyone sees it that way, too many people are polarised in their views without finding middle ground.
Funnily enough Gerry Ryan has never born a grudge. He was talking about it a couple of years ago at the first of Kerry Mayo's testimonial do's.
He shared a room with Chris Hughton (his brother) whenever he was on international duties.

Two things. Firstly, I'd have had the good grace to have told them in advance that I wasn't going. And by the way, I've read of quite a few cases of Albion fans going to Palace where someone else is paying.
Secondly, this Leeds - Man Utd thing is a joke. Man Utd only ever gave a shit about Leeds in the early '90s when they were title rivals and when Leeds were singing Munich songs - and maybe a spell in the '70s. For United fans, it's all about the Scousers. Leeds should realise they're a small club and it's all about the Huddersfield derby for them now.
Why on earth should Man Utd give a shite about Leeds, they're a nothing club who were getting gates of 18,000 last season (one quarter of United's). They're not even the biggest club in Yorkshire.

you know me so well. i dont do good grace and especially not over the scum or some corporate jolly. ive not sold out on myself yet and wasnt going to start then. i wont tell you what i did at the challenge cup final a few seasons back, you might say something really mean and hurt my little feelers.
btw this was when we were in the premiership. and as for scum, they cannot help singing about leeds pretty much every week. the stretford end at half time is all about us. they cant let it go, we're flattered.

You're deluded. You seem to forget, you're a tiny club compared to them. They got 76k last season, you had 18k. They play in the Prem, you're in division 3, they play in the Champions League, you play in the Johnstone Paints.
Everybody hates Leeds, it's just that we don't all have to put up with songs like they do about Munich whenever we play you. It's not surprising really, Leeds fans like to piss on seats or rip them up, sing revolting songs, get into fights, cause trouble everywhere they go and generally act like twats.
