I work overseas for about a week of the month and the rest of the time from home.....

So usually lay in bed and reach across and turn the laptop on about 8.55 am and spend hours looking for decent golf courses to play and then log off about 3pm and go play golf.

The commute downstairs to the kettle is a killer mind!

Under your skin.
At college, (Yes I get EMA. Yes, I think it's stupid but why would I turn down free money?)

Job in school holidays. Job is in London so I get the train up Sunday evening and train back Friday afternoon.

Work 8-5:30 Monday-Thursday and 9-1 on a Friday. :clap2:

I leave at 8.10am and arrive at 8.30 (even though my working day doesn't formally start until 9, I usually have a lot to get done before the troops start interrupting my flow with their problems). Lunch 1.00-1.30, leave at 5, usually home by 5.15.

Quite a nice little routine.

Yesterday ... I left home at 6.45 am and got back at 11.40 pm. But that included a train journey to and from Birmingham and a football match at Withdean, followed by a celebratory post-match drink on the way home. 16 hours 55 minutes.

Today ... Left home at 9.20 am; and I would have been back home at 6.30 pm, if I hadn't diverted via Lewes to do some shopping. Call it 9 hours 10 minutes.

Why should you? If you don't like it..get out of education, and work FT.

Dont like what? EMA?
No, i dont like it, and the fact is most people on it even admit that its a complete farce. Im not loaded and neither are my parents, but i dont qualify for EMA, yet those i know who have one parent on 6 figures and the other doesnt work but are divorced get £30 a week for attending college. Add on to this a £100 bonus at Christmas and in summer holidays that im aware of, which is similar to what I get paid for working 7 hours of my weekends, thus losing time to do college work etc.
