a bog standard defeat

(home) probably by monday morning
(away) round about late saturday night

-------------------------------------------

important league game

around midweek, when i start thinking about the following saturday game

-------------------------------------------

cup game

unlike most people these days, still love the domestic cups, espcially now, because the bigger sides play weakened teams alot and i genuinely think a team like brighton has a realistic chance of reaching the semi's and then who knows

losing to the likes of walton & hersham and leatherhead are etched on my memory for ever and losing to saints at the goldstone in the 6th round cut like a knife, not until the next round,do i finally get the defeat out of the system

------------------------------------------

pompey & saints

a week-10 days

-------------------------------------------

THE SCUM

a defeat to them is like a festering sore that just won't go away, until the next time you play and beat them, roll on 31 Jan

A fairly good summary I think. Won't get over the Palace defeat until we dick them 5-0 at their place.

Most games- about 17.30 that day, unless it was particularly unjust.

I still haven't got over the Palace defeat though.

This.

I'm usually pretty good at getting over it. But after the Palace game I had to politely tell my girlfriend to leave me alone whilst I played Fifa on amateur, with 20 minute halves and beat them 15-0. It made no difference.

I've never felt that bad about a football match. Ever.

2 or 3 pints for a normal league match. A cup final or play off game would be longer though. A relegation game, could be a season or more :)
