Agree with Lord B, fully expecting 7 mins added time - I looked at the clock and the 3 minutes went by quite quickly 4.55 on the clock.

But the 6 minutes until the board went up were agony & ecstasy.
I kept screaming uncontrollably "Come On" for no apparent
reason.

If I was a City fan, I'd be spitting chips at only 3 mins. added time - even though it didn't look as though they would score (after Ben's giveaway corner & Dan's free kick had been comfortably dealt with).

was trying to count the seconds down in my head but realised I was counting each 10 in about 3 seconds. So I tried a trick on myself by getting to 7 and then starting again. Then forget to count for a bit and suddenly a minute had gone!

Hereford was so much more painful and the relief that day was far far greater than on Sunday. I hadn't slept properly for weeks in the lead up to Hereford whereas on Sunday I had made my mind up that I was going to enjoy myself whatever the outcome. Having said that if BC had scored and gone onto win I wouldn't have been very happy!

I've never forgiven Ivor Caplin for trying to steal some of the glory at Hereford by celebrating on the pitch with the players after the match. Where is he now? Can't recall seeing him at any away matches since Hereford and his attendance at home matches has reduced considerably.

Sorry - hijacked a non-political thread

Watching the clock on the big screen the 90th minute seemed to last an eternity. Until eventually I realised it had stopped on 90. After that it seemed relatively painless (I'd had a feeling for a while that it was ours for the taking with Bristol being rather ineffectual) and certainly not as bad as Hereford.

Didn't stop me gibbering like a fool & trying to whistle as loud as possible in the direction of the ref.

Didn't seem that bad, but when Ben fumbled that ball for the corner, my heart was in my mouth. I really thought we were going to screw it up, so the final whistle was a considerable relief.

The whole time i was looking at the scoreboard, thinking hurry up countdown to full time, didn't seem to long to be honest but it was great to hear the final whistle

The three minutes of injury time took forever. When I watched the game again in the pub afterwards I was amazed to see that is really was only three, and he hadn't added more.

And I was in no way sure we were going to do it. Especially when Roberts fumbled and gave away that corner, all I could think of was that both us and Brizzle had done it late in the semi's.

I remember the guy in front of me turning round to me after I'd obviously annoyed him by saying things like "dont f*** it up" repeatedly, saying "You havent been in a situation like this before have you" And i said "No I havent, and if you have you've obviosly been supporting a different team than I have for the last 22 years!" :flameboun :flameboun

It went really quickly - to be honest I could never see BCFC scoring.

They rarely threatened and looked even worse when we took the lead.

However I was confident from the off as we were on an emotional high from the previous game.

Took forever. So many times have I seen Albion balls it up from those positions. I also kept thinking about the semi finals
