Is it St George's Day today?
Wahey. OK I've found ONE person who is getting about 50% of the way there to getting it.
And who said there's no such thing as miracles?
Unfortunately while your experience of religion might be an enlightened search for god, for most of us our brushes with Christainity have shown it to be a haven for dogmatic zealots

ie: What you see on TV.
Do you know many Christians personally?
No what i saw in church, my RE teacher at school, my Catholic relatives and the doorstoppers and Churchill Square leafletters
What apart from my mother, the local Rector Paul, Jill at work, and Angela and Keith in the local?
hahahaha fantastic. Yeah, who says! Could be true......
Yet more irony missed by The Spanish today.
Right, here we go...I was brought up in a Christian family, I no longer go to Church (unless it is a special occasion) - during all my years of going to church as a child and less frequently as an adult I can honestly say I have NEVER met a dogmatic zealot - I have found on the most part all of the Christians I have met to be nice, personable people who are happy and enjoy their faith.
but hey, why not just stick a label on people - it makes it much easier
I will take being slow on the uptake over believing in a man in the sky any day of the week.
Bosh! And he's back!
Because, sadly while i have met the christians you describe i have also encountered plenty of dogmatic Zealots.
who, Jesus?

You're on a roll now. Keep going. Let's slag off Muslims next. Well fun.
Not fun but these ridiculous superstitions do need challenging, you are right.
.
It's the same as assuming every Muslim is a terrorist. Stupid and dangerous thinking.
Sorry, but you're making judgements about what i believe. I don't assume every Christian is a dogmatic nutjob, because i hve plenty of experience of calm reasonable believers, but sadly my experience has shown that for every reasonable Christian there is at least one foaming at the mouth nutter.
You honestly believe the ratio is over 50%? In America I could believe that perhaps...
Sorry for being judgemental.
